Collection Details
Memes.surf uses a dual-asset model: shares for fractional trading and NFTs for full ownership.
Shares
Shares are the core trading instrument on Memes.surf. Each meme launched on the platform has exactly 1,000,000 shares that represent fractional ownership of the underlying NFT collection.
Key Properties
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Jetton (TON fungible token) |
| Supply | Fixed at 1,000,000 per meme |
| Pricing | Bonding curve - price rises with each buy |
| Transferable | Yes, between TON wallets |
| Tradeable | Yes, on Memes.surf |
How Pricing Works
Share-token prices follow a bonding curve model:
- Each buy increases the price per share
- Each sell decreases the price per share
- The curve ensures continuous liquidity - there is always a price at which you can buy or sell
- No order book or external liquidity pool needed
- Total supply is fixed at 1,000,000 shares per meme
Buying and Selling
- Buy - Send TON to receive shares at the current curve price
- Sell - Return shares to receive TON at the current curve price
- Spread - A 1% trading fee applies on all buys and sells
NFTs
Each meme has a collection of 1,000 NFTs. NFTs exist on-chain and can be minted by burning the full share supply.

| Property | Description |

Minting an NFT
When a user accumulates 1,000,000 shares (the full supply), they can mint an NFT:
- All 1,000,000 shares are burned - permanently removed from circulation
- One NFT is minted from the collection (out of 1,000 total) and sent to the user's wallet
- The share market for that meme is effectively closed (all shares destroyed)
- The NFT can now be freely traded on marketplaces
TON
TON is the native currency used for all transactions on Memes.surf:
- Paying launch fees
- Buying shares
- Receiving proceeds from selling shares
- Paying trading fees
